Whirlpool River Access
On the WaterWhirlpool River Access provides launching access for small fishing boats and canoes on the Lower Au Sable. For travelers who don't want to negotiate steep banks or don't have a boat, an accessible boardwalk leads to a hardened fishing access area. Located near Cooke and Foote dams, it is a peaceful spot for fishing, paddling, or simply enjoying the Au Sable River. Part of the River Road National Scenic Byway near Oscoda.
